Working from home tax relief in my tax return?

Hi all,
I'm about to do my tax return for selling some art items I made in my own time. I also work full time and have been working from home, so want to claim my 2019-2021 home tax relief. Is this something I need to do separately from my tax return? Or something I need to calculate and include in my expenses? Or is there a new section outlining this? Just wondering if there is anything I need to be aware of for this. Thanks

You can't claim relief for two years on one return.Hi all,

Are you referring to Covid-19 WFH expenses in relation to your PAYE employment?1 -
From another thread:The claim is £6 per week or £312.In the employment section answer ‘yes’ to the ‘Do you want to claim any expenses against this employment?’ question and put 312 in the ‘Other expenses and Capital Allowances box’.2

Dazed_and_C0nfused: ah you are correct I am doing the return for 2020-2021 so just for last tax year.
purdyoaten2: Thanks man, that sounds like it

You still have a few days left to amend your 2019:20 return.
But the tax saving for a Covid-19 WFH claim for 2019:20 will usually be minimal.1 -
Ah ok, I never realised you could amend it a year later?0

I have another question. If I claim this allowance for my PAYA under ‘Do you want to claim any expenses against this employment?’ can I claim it again for my self employed work? So internet expenses, council tax etc?0
