Help with old debts

Hi guys,
Basically about 5/6 years ago when I was in my early twenties and in a bad relationship/situation I racked up a bunch of debts circa £10k (credit cards, a loan and overdrafts) started a stepchange payment plan.
It got too much for me to be able to afford to pay and after i moved house i just stopped paying them and opened a new bank account etc
Eventually got contacted by a debt management company for the largest one which was about £6000 and currently pay a token £5 a month on that one.
However most of the others I haven't ever heard from since moving (and subsequently moved again) the accounts I can see on my clearscore report and show I made then missed payments in early 2016 before they went into default.
My report doesn't show Anny CCJ or have I ever been informed of any court action etc (but obviously they haven't been updated on my address) so I am trying to see if some of these can be considered statute barred at this point and if so do I need to contact them? Or would that make it worse and simply say this if they do come after me.
At what point will they no longer show that on my report? The point of 6 years from the last payment? Or when it first went into default?
Basically trying to stop burying my head in the sand and be prepared to sort it all out.
