Should I transfer my LGPS to an NHS Pension?

Hi,
I’ve recently been successful at interview and got a job within the NHS, which obviously comes with their pension etc.
I am currently in a LGPS, with nearly 2 years worth of contributions (I also transferred in my previous NEST pension contributions into the LGPS when I joined it).
I turn 30 this year so I’m a way off retiring but just wondering what the best port of call is? Do I transfer my LGPS into my NHS pension? Or do I leave it?
Thanks for any help!

You need to get a quote off the NHS to give you the numbers.1

Thanks for the comments, looks like I may have jumped ahead a little. Will wait until I start with the NHS, get a value and will report back!!0

It would be a club transfer, so in the NHS it would be ring-fenced and increase in line with CPI. If left deferred, it increases in line with CPI, so it makes very little difference given you already have preservation of pension due to transferring in the NEST pension.chrisbourne15 said:I am currently in a LGPS, with nearly 2 years worth of contributions (I also transferred in my previous NEST pension contributions into the LGPS when I joined it).
