I have credit from last year's return, how can I apply this credit to this year's payment?

Thank you

Not sure this has anything to do with motoring...

Agreed but I would have thought to ask HMRC

I believe you'll be able to enter it in the online return.

I can't find where to put this amount in the form or payment section.

    Looked everywhere.

    Thanks

You do you like bossing people around,

Do you walk around with a clipboard?

How lucky we are that you took time out from your busy day to tell people what to do.

It is the obvious answer.. You have already wasted one day with no answer.
As well as posting in the correct section on this site where people may know the answer. Not the Motoring one. 🤦‍♀️

You don't do anything, it has no relevance to your 2020:21 tax return/calculation.

When your return is filed any available credit on your Self Assessment account will be used to pay the tax due for 2020:21.

See no point in asking such a question on a forum when dealing with someone like HMRC - We can only give our own opinion and often it is wrong anyway.
