  • You don't do anything, it has no relevance to your 2020:21 tax return/calculation.

When your return is filed any available credit on your Self Assessment account will be used to pay the tax due for 2020:21.

Thanks Dazed and confused (I know how you feel)

I couldn't find any indication on the HMRC website of any adjustment being made, will try to call them.

    Thanks

  • It isn't an adjustment to anything.

If you wait a few days after your return is filed then check your online account and look at the tax due for 2020:21 you should see the available credit (assuming there was some) allocated against the tax due for 2020:21.
