Has anyone volunteered to do the Mag Dailies?

If someone can give me instructions and training, and show me how to post the links, just as dear Jambo has done, then I would be happy to take over the posting of the Mag dailies. Is there anyone still left here, who can walk me through it? I don't know how to do the short links etc.

Thanks so much for offering to help, I'm not sure which mag dailies that @JamboDP used to post, just a lot of them!

If I get a chance tonight I am happy to help, but most likely have more time over the weekend, if no one helps in the meantime.

What is it you need to know? Do you know how to search, make a post or just the post layout.

I do hope some people will offer to do them again as there are many being added daily and I don't always guess the right answer!  "McLennan" is another MD posting member that springs to mind... Why have they all left doing it?

As someone who has been involved in posting  and maintaining the mag dailies competition lists in the past I can tell you that it is a BIG task and very time consuming ( and boring). IMO it is too big a task for one person and I dont know how JamboDP coped with it on his own. I only contributed as part of a team.

There are 22 magazines some with up to 50 individual competitions listed and there are usually daily changes to keep up with. Although the answers are usually obvious or easily found sometimes they do need a little research which all takes time. It is a big commitment.

There used to be a list of the magazines in the Regular competitions section with a link to their competition pages (but no answers) but that seems to have disappeared. Perhaps someone could reinstate that as an interim measure for those  interested in entering.

I enter the mags every day and bookmarked the old list before it disappeared. I enter from the list every day, I never look at the individual posts now and find it much easier not to miss anything. If I don't know the answer I just google the question the first day and usually the answer comes up, if not I just guess and remember the answer for the next day if wrong.
