Just checking in after my holiday! Had a great time with my friends although I spent more than I would have hoped BUT less than I had saved, so I don't know why I'm fretting about spending it!Debt as at 5 June 2023 - £15,600.89
Current debt - £5,935.00
Total paid off - £9,665.89 (61% paid off)0 -
Oh dear - it's been far longer than I intended since I posted. Must ensure I get back into the habit as it definitely helps my motivation!
I have "closed down" my May budget and am now on a new budget month. I actually managed quite a lot for May:- Went away with friends
- Paid for new washing machine
- Cleared £345.88 worth of debt
- Increased my EF by £34.15
I had a great day out with friends on Sunday which I did the most frugal way possible - the ticket was £45 but I bought some drinks from the shop and friend took a picnic, then I walked home after. Meaning I didn't spend a penny at the event!
Over the weekend I also crocheted some pumpkins - I made some for a friend last year and when some other friends saw them they said they would want some for this year. So I've made some samples and will send pictures to those friends and ask if anyone still wants them - I just need to work out my pricing first! Of course, no one may now want them (or want to pay what I'm asking) which is why I'm doing it this way rather than making a load which are then just sat around!
I've added a few little extra bits to my EF so far this month, so that is currently at £112.36. Hoping to managed to chuck a good amount in it this month as what I had set aside last month ended up going on the washing machine!Debt as at 5 June 2023 - £15,600.89
Current debt - £5,935.00
Total paid off - £9,665.89 (61% paid off)0 -
