    @jeannie71 ONP used to be my go-to solicitor in the past when clients asked for referrals. However, since mid-covid they've steadily regressed (nothing fancy, just in basic competency and customer service) and after a couple of client complaints (for perfectly legitimate reasons), I stopped referrals.

    They even managed to mess up a let-to-buy transaction where they were doing both parts of the transaction but apparently couldn't communicate properly because the purchase-team was completely separate to the remo-team!

    To be fair, I don't refer any solicitors anymore for purchase transactions because there's none that I feel confident associating my service with.

    OP/Grindeys were swallowed by a private equity firm and IMHO the service has not been as good from either/both since.
    Interesting. I last used them before they were took over and I'm glad I've not used them this time around.
