Carrot and cauli curry with rice.
Leek and potato soup.
Sprout and bacon gallette. (Use 200ml of milk and cook for about 45 mins at 170 degrees. It's too wet otherwise. Churchmouse fixed it!)
No - scrap that - I've just seen the cabbage - make it with the cabbage then do roast chicken with mash and sprouts!
Delia's lentil and egg curry (gorgeous!)
No idea what to do with fish or soft cheese - sorry!May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0 -
Fish pie with mashed potato and leek topping. You could use the cheese in the sauce for the fish, or in the mash.
Chicken and pasta bake with a cheese and crispy bacon creamy sauce.

You could use some of your bacon pieces with carrots, onions and any other veg you fancy, couple chopped or sliced potatoes, couple pints of water to which you have added some chicken/veg stock powder or cube, makes very nice 'stew' with some more spuds and veg or warm bread, rest makes soup for next day....blend or not as you like

You could start each meal with homemade soup: you have the ingredients for leek and potato, sprout and potato (yes, honest, it's nice, but even nicer with some bacon in it) and lentil & carrot with tinned tomatoes. If you want it creamy, add a dollop of the cheese at the end. There was a study that said this really helped with weight loss, and also it makes the more expensive ingredients go further.Mortgage started on 22.5.09 : £129,600Overpayments to date: £3000June grocery challenge: 400/6000

you can stuff the chicken with philly & bacon bits, wrap in tin foil & bake. ( or coat with eggs/flour/breadcrumbs) & fry like a kiev style thing:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0
