Progressive - good or avoid?

Hi, we are at the start of a house move, and I'm just checking over which mortgage company to go with. Progressive is one of the cheapest for our requirements, but I don't know much about them and I can't find many reviews online.

What are people's thoughts? Do they have a good online banking system? Can you easily make overpayments? Are the staff helpful?

Thanks,
Felicity

@fshbf They only lend on NI properties (perhaps why there isn't much online) and I've never used them. But their rates at some LTVs seem to be very low compared to mainstream rates available in the rest of the country so if you qualify for it and they will lend what you need....

  • Ah, that wasn't apparent from the information I'd seen up to now. Thank you!! We are looking to buy in Sheffield so that isn't going to work for us.
