What's my guitar worth?

I've got a black (with white scratch plate) Fender Squire Stratocaster (made in Japan), Serial Q029479 which I've had for ages and it's been in garage for years.
TBh I've hardly played it as a beginner with no patience to learn properly.
Need to clear out garage and need some money I've got no idea the value.
Will be sold with the hard case and a small Tanglewood amp too.
Where can I find out what I could sell it for on eBay

Have you checked that it still works?
If it does, you could have a look on eBay and see if there are any guitars like, or similar to, yours. Then set your price.
Or just google what you put in your post - "black (with white scratch plate) Fender Squire Stratocaster (made in Japan), Serial Q029479".

The Japanese Squiers seem to be reasonably valuable now - it would certainly be worth 2-300 pounds and possibly more if it was in a reasonably playable condition. Probably the best way to check is to look at completed listings on Ebay and see how much similar guitars actually sold for. There are plenty of optimistic listings on Ebay which are never sold so don't just go by asking prices.1

Reverb.com might be another place to check for pricing.
Be very careful reading what's covered and not if sending by post, many couriers won't insure musical instruments at all.0 -
Reverb prices are stupidly high. Ignore them. Squier original Japanese ones are top quality and a good price. It's a 1993 model, £300 to £600 depending on condition - and don't advertise serial numbers on-line!Now a gainfully employed bassist again - WooHoo!0

Unscrupulous people of the world, will copy your serial # and put it on a fake/low quality copy of the guitar, which of course increases the legitimacy of the fake and prices accordingly.
