tinned sardines - OK to eat??

evening all, just a quick question. i opened a tin of sardines (in olive oil) three days ago and only ate half. The rest was put in the fridge: would it still be ok to eat, do you think. the sardines are still 'sitting' in the olive oil. thanks all:)

I would think so but don't keep much longer. They are preserved but shelf life deteriorates once opened.
