Now see that going on buy now pay later with these companies was a mistake! 

Bought a washing machine in October, was delivered on the Monday but immediately found it was faulty, contacted the manufacturers who said we need to speak to curry’s - we’re on all day to them for them to say replacement would be 3-5 days despite initially paying £30 extra for next day delivery. I was going in to have a baby on the Wednesday so 3-5 days wasn’t acceptable, so we asked them to collect and loaned the money from parents and bought from another company. They sent people to collect on the Tuesday. 

I cancelled the DD obviously as we didn’t have the product. Ever since I have been bombarded by Creation and they have now negatively affected my credit score. I have spoken to them but they say they can’t do anything without a cancellation notice from Curry’s - I have just been on hold for over and hour before giving up for the 5th time! 

How do I sort this?! It is beyond frustrating, especially when I have a newborn, don’t have the time to be sat on hold constantly to no resolution.

Cancelling the DD is never a good idea.

You need to talk to them to understand the current status of the order and what, if anything, is owed. Check what is being reported to your files.

I know cancelling DD is the best, but going on mat pay I couldn’t afford for them to be taking money for something we don’t have to then no doubt take an age to refund. 😩

Nothing is owed, we don’t have the goods. But I can’t talk to them because they don’t respond to email contact and don’t answer the phones!

Have you tried contacting Currys via Facebook or Twitter? Whenever I've had problems getting through to a company on the phone I've found contacting via social media quicker. If they can't help you they might get someone to call you.
