Doesn't sound formal. Barclays are leaving their options open. Either you arrange a remortgage or sell the property. As eventually Barclays will enforce the mortgage contract terms and repossess the property. If you dispute the matter, they will simply say that they've allowed you plenty of time to resolve the matter.marie_hc said:
We don't know if its formal or not. We have asked for letter or something to state our current arrangement but they refuse. they tell us just to tell any potential new lender we do it monthly by phone that's it no terms nothing in writing. We tried writing they never really look at post they always say ring.Deleted_User said:What agreement do you believe to formally be in place?0 -
Won't Barclays offer a new mortgage?
Why do the new lender need your arrangement with Barclays in writing?0
