Are student loan repayments calculated on Capital Gains?

Options
Hi all,
Now in retirement (aged 59), I have £6,300 in student debt accumulated between 2013-2019. As my annual income is around the £27,000 mark, I pay little or nothing in student loan repayments - just £91 last year. I don't expect my income to increase massively in retirement, in fact, it may go down as I currently recieve income from a couple of flats which I let out. Given this, I am not sure if it is in my financial interest to make any aditional payments off the loan which will expire in 27odd years or on my death (hopefully the former :)).
However, I am unsure whether Capital Gains income is used to calculate my student loan repayments. If so, then I guess I should pay down the student debt in order to stop accruing interest.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
