Apologies for a question which I suspect has been asked previously … a super simple explanation would be much appreciated! I am trying to work out what would be the maximum I could ‘pay myself’ from my DB pension + DC pot. I will have the standard tax code and will be able to take 25% of the (currently uncrystallised) DC…

Thank you - I’ll repost in a new thread. I reread my forecast from USS again in detail last night, as well as some other threads here. It is beginning to make more sense now, but I’m definitely keen to hear people’s thoughts and experiences. Seems the goalposts are ever shifting!
