Adjusted net income

Hi
We are trying to figure out my husbands 'adjusted net income' to check our eligibility for 30 free hours childcare.
My husband had a letter from HRMC stating he earns £100k a year now (which includes his bonus and shares the company have given him which we are not able to access for the foreseeable) this bonus he has not received since becoming eligible due to Covid.
His actual salary would be more like £85k a year which would still make us under the threshold but we clearly want to make sure we don't apply if this isn't the case.
I know bonuses are put towards adjusted net income but are shares?
Any help would be much appreciated.

You start with taxable income, which includes any benefits, including shares, that are taxable. If there was no tax on the shares, perhaps because they were acquired under an enterprise management incentive scheme for at least their value when the options were granted, they would not count towards adjusted net income. It depends on what actually happened.0
