I have no experience of this things so any input would be appreciated.
It would be mainly used for clearing long grass/nettles/thistles on my allotment (well my wifes).Do I go for a 12v, 18v or more? dont know how long these run for after a charge but the longer the better.I dont know if they come with removable batteries like a cordless drill but that would be a bonus as a spare is always useful.
Amazon is doing one for just under £50 which looks like what I need but need a bit more help in choosing.
Thanks

I was looking for one of these last week and found one for less than £25. It was called Power Devil. I wanted one for trimming around a grave so not really to bothered how powerful it was. I am unable to find the link, suggest you do a Google search.
I hope to find time this week to purchase one.0 -

hi, yes it is the perfomance one, i had an overgrown jungle for a back garden and this has done the job great. not too heavy to hold, automatic line feed by tapping reel.
They was marked up at £79.99 in my local store,(which still seemed cheap) but on the internet they was on offer at £49.99, next day in my local b+q they dropped the price to £45.... Bargain, they had electric ones at the same price....0
