sounds like you are an employee to me. definition of been self employee is that you control who you you have as a customer. if I worked in a barber shop and rented a chair but I could not get my own insurance. so if things go wrong who's liability insurance covers it. give insurance company like salonsaver.co.uk or salongold.com a call if they don't offer you libaility insurance then you an employee0
