    Hi Sabsob, thanx  :)
    You should download Greenjinn too. That one has a fair few different stores on it too.
    I’ve got loads of cash back from both so far, although don’t expect it to continue.
    Having a tidy up to get rid of some clutter, need to get loads of it sold or donated before we become overrun.

    23rd January - DH popped out to grab bits for dinner so spent £3.47.
    Historic Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!

    Saving for Xmas 2022= . . Amazon £55

    Thank you :) I had a look at Greenjinn, I think I need to keep it in mind for when I'm in the big city, but I'll keep checking it :)

    Morning!
    Well I made the school run today (bit sore though).
    Managed to get some freebies from the food sharing app, so we have enough bread for a few days now.
    We’ve cancelled a holiday we had booked for later in the year and are now just waiting for a refund. Only problem is I have to pay the balance off the credit card and the refund is going to take up to 28 days. So I have to pay the entire credit card off and then try to work out how to get the money back when they refund.

    24th January - spent £5.94 and got £5.90 cash back, overall spend of 4p which I’m happy with

    If you've got a credit balance on the card then your provider will transfer it to your current account if you ask them. Or just use the card instead of your normal method of payment

    Thanx south_coast, I will have to contact them about a refund then as the card isn’t really used anymore.
    Been reasonably good today, nipped out and bought breakfast takeaway as DH is working at home today and thought we’d treat ourselves.

    25th January - spent £13 on extra part for the stair gate and £10.45 on some baby food and coffee (both obviously needed) got 75p cash back.

    26th January - breakfast takeaway was £7.47, managed to spend a whopping £120 on discounted bits for Christmas and birthday presents. Boots have 1,000 points for each £60 spent so got that twice, can use the points on nappies  :)
    Not the most MSE of days, but it was mostly smelly stuff I can make into gift hampers so I’m happy

    Evening  :)
    Had a productive day today, spent half of the day trying to sort stuff to list for sale online. Won’t make me rich overnight but should help make a few pounds to put towards the bills.

    27th January - managed to spend £25.09 on some much needed shopping. Had to stock up on lunchbox bits.
    Some of the bits were cash back bits worth £13.02 so overall spend of £12.07. That sounds much better  :)

    Haven’t had a chance to pop on the last few days, will do a quick rundown of spending now

    28th January - spent £33.52 stocking up on cereal and lunchbox cereal bars and dessert pots. Got £21.11 as cash back, so isn’t as bad as it first sounded.

    29th January - grabbed some bread and milk but used my gift card to pay, picked up a free Costa with my stamps to treat myself 😊 counts as an NSD as far as I’m concerned.

    30th January - NSD 😁 Picked up some free bread and veg from the food sharing app.

    31st January - if I need any shopping today I’ll use my gift card so not expecting to spend any money today.

    Will pop back later to have a look at the spending and savings figures for the month. Can’t believe it’s February tomorrow!

    Good evening!
    Had a cheap retail therapy day today, did a bit of shopping with my points.
    Grabbed some little bits and a meal deal from boots as I have a fair few points on my account = free 😊
    Free cake from Costa, free donut from Krispy Kreme, grabbed bread and milk and paid using gift card (can’t believe I still have gift card credit!)
    So no spending today.
    Popped out last night to grab a bag of pastries from the free food app, that did the kids for breakfast and lunchboxes. Dinner last night was burgers and homemade garlic bread - the only I paid for (using my gift card) was a box of burgers as everything else was either free or already here.

    So, how was my spending last month….

    Supermarket shopping = £321
    Fuel = £123
    Travel costs = £62
    Takeaways = £19
    Hotels = £69
    Gift shopping = £123
    Other bits = £26

    Cashback from shopping = £109

    Overall my supermarket shopping wasn’t as bad as I thought. Travel costs are unavoidable each month due to running one of the kids halfway up the country and back again each month.

    Other bills that don’t get a mention

    Mortgage = £1218
    Help to buy = £68
    Life insurance = £140
    Gas/Electric = £120
    Kids club £51
    Other DDs = £31
    Car = £110

    Monthly savings

    A/C 1 = £400  current balance = £2400
    A/C 2 = £50    current balance = £450
    A/C 3 = £50    current balance = £250
    A/C 4 = £50    current balance = £300
    A/C 5 = £50    current balance = £300
    Current account balance = £5000

    Need to sit down and work out what I’ve missed out and how much money we have left over each month to put towards the help to buy.
    There’s a fair few bills paid annually that are missing off my list because they’re all up to date.

    Morning, it’s been a few days (been a very busy bunny)
    Well I’ve tried to be good these last few days.

    Fuelled up the car which has cost £43
    Did a massive £180 shop which was definitely much needed. Still have more to buy! Also spent £11 on a birthday present, other than that not really spent much (apart from stuff I paid for with a gift card)

    Really annoyed with myself, thought I’d paid my credit card bill but I was under by £2.99 so got charged nearly £11 in interest  :s not paid interest in years so I’m kicking myself over it.

    Need to keep the saving momentum rolling, would be nice to have £20k saved by the end of the year, but will probably end up being £15k (will be happy to meet in the middle at £17.5k)

    Good morning!

    Bought a load of baby clothes in the sale, used my £50 gift card from Christmas, should be enough for the next 6 months of sizes.
    Still annoyed with myself over the credit card interest - won’t make that mistake again for a while!
    Got an email from Ziffit to pay us just over a fiver for the box of books, better get the next package sorted  :)
    Been using online survey sites to save up Amazom gift cards for Christmas, done really well, so far up to £80 (I’ve set myself a target of £50 per month)
    Also had a lot of cash back go payable, so going to cash that in for supermarket gift cards also for Christmas, that’s another £73 in the Christmas pot

    Going to do another big shop today. Big family means it never all fits in the trolley in one trip. That should keep us going with only top up shopping for a while
    Hopefully the good cash back offers come around again, not been many recently
