Which vape/e-cigarette?

I had half a cigarette this morning after vape issues meant I was desperately craving nicotine. It actually really didn't taste or feel good which was a shock!
I ended up buying a replacement vape because I was determined not to go back to smoking. I think I worked out the issue. I'd flooded it. I ended up having to blow out the extra juice which wasn't particularly pleasant but I now have two working vapes. Even two vapes plus juice is only the same price as two weeks of smoking and tomorrow will be one week down (minus half a cigarette).
I'll check out 88 vape. I need to buy some coils and more bubblegum flavour because that's definitely my favourite so far!Mortgage at 30: £204,750 (08/2020)
Current mortgage: £145,448 (11/2024)
Goal: £145,000 by 02/2025
End goal: Mortgage free asap!3 -

There will already be differences that you’ll be seeing now. After 4 days my fingers didn’t have any nicotine stains on them. My sense of smell and taste were changing and best of all, I didn’t stink
The oddest thing I noticed was just how much more time I had/have because I’m not stopping to smoke or spending time pre-rolling.
One thing I found really helpful wasn’t just to count the days, but also count the cigs I wasn’t having. 20 a day meant that after a week it was 140 cigs I’d not had. Today is 75 days since I stopped and that’s 1500 cigs I haven’t had! I drew out the cash that I would have spent each week and put the notes in a pot somewhere I could see it. After a few weeks I had enough to buy an Apple Watch. I’ve stopped drawing the money out now though because I’d rather it was in my bank account!I’ve successfully cut down to 6mg from 12. Next lot I need to buy will be 3mg then 0.Keep going, you can do this!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. Have you found you're vaping more since you cut down the nicotine? I was using 20mg liquid earlier in the week and feeling more satisfied after a few puffs. I'm now using 10mg and seem to be vaping way more.Mortgage at 30: £204,750 (08/2020)

Hmm, where to start...Before switching from cigarettes to electronic cigarettes, you need to be mentally prepared in order not to go back to the old. I advise you to start with lighter electronic cigarettes, and then, at your discretion, switch to heavy ones with an increased amount of nicotine in the vaping liquid. I started my journey into the world of electronic cigarettes with menthol vape juices, which are very similar to the smell of cigarettes, it helped me to get used to the device of electronic cigarettes and understand that you can safely switch to them after regular cigarettes. I was very inspired by this and I never smoked regular cigarettes again.

For what it's worth OP I tried to stop smoking many times, patches, tablets and everything the NHS would try but none worked for long
I'm 83 and started vaping 15 months ago, tobacco flavour 16mg nicotine
It was the cost of cigarettes rather than the danger that led me to vape
At my age there is not much point to try to live longer by giving up either
My bar is geek vape at £15.99 on line, easy to switch coils and fill, juice is 888 at £22 for 25 bottles
My kids and family use the same0 -
Maybe the OP could update with how they are getting on 2 years after posting...0

I managed about a year of mainly vaping and just smoking when drinking but I went on holiday and ended up smoking again. It's been a year back on cigarettes 😞Mortgage at 30: £204,750 (08/2020)

Well, never too late to try again. It took me a couple of attempts to switch to vaping. I've also discovered nicotine pouches through a freebie on here, which I don't use day to day but absolutely love for long journeys where I can't vape - https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6491824/free-nordic-spirit-nicotine-pouch#latest - still appears to be working, absolutely free and they haven't even spammed me with emails, so worth a shot. Anything's better than smoking!1

I tried Nordic spirit and it felt like my gums were burning. I'm using up the last of my duty free and I'll try quit after my birthday which should be a similar time to when I run outMortgage at 30: £204,750 (08/2020)
