Getting a mortgage after FIRE

@moneygeoff I was speaking to the intermediary team this morning for a few other queries and asked about this. They said that PTs are indeed available for clients transferred from Tesco, and I would be able to do this on the system.MoneyGeoff said:I'm a bit early. Halifax aren't sure if I can't switch online because I'm early or because the mortgage was bought from Tesco. They said to try again in a couple of weeks so I'll do that.
The mechanics might be different direct but you should still be able to switch to a current Halifax product without going through any underwriting.
Alternatively, just get in touch with one of the fee-free brokers recommended by MSE and get them to do it https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/mortgages/best-mortgages-cashback/#step3
