Hello, I am delurking to confess that last night I also had a good look at 3 bed houses in Brighton and Hove 😂 I look every day in our area despite the fact that where we are living will most likely be our forever home. I just don’t want to miss out!! It is exciting looking for other people.

Hmmm I wonder if you have a project in you @julicorn ? You did say you were looking at some properties a little further out…. This one has been on the market for a few weeks and as the house has not been done you could put your own stamp on it. Really good size, can have your veggie patch and some chickens 😉
definitely a wild card…

Our buyer is currently on holiday (it's clearly the time of the year to go away
) and the estate agent is trying to talk them into using a less crappy solicitor than the one they've currently got, so no memorandum of sale yet - BUT I just got a call from esurv, and the mortgage valuation for our flat is now booked for next Tuesday. Progress, yay!
We're currently on the train back home from center parcs. This week absolutely flew by, house hunting probably had a role to play in that! We'll have just enough time to drop off our luggage, and then the house hunting shall commence. Today we have the blue house on spring street, the house in Hove (Rutland road), and this one that's just come up in Hanover - needs work, but we were interested nonetheless: http://www.rightmove.co.uk/s6p/119812556
I'll report back tonight with scores and feedback x1 -
