That's highly debatable, but I suppose he deserves it a bit more than the warmonger Blair, who the Queen inexplicably knighted because that just what we do with ex-PM's, regardless of what they do for the country (or the world.)

Congratulations Martin on being appointed a CBE, it should have been a Knighthood.  You are so worthy and honorable unlike so many others.  You have worked exceptionally hard throughout your career helping everyone with the MSE site and TV appearances.and even more so over the covid era with the most complex financial issues and injustices.  Let's hope you can sort out the Energy Crisis and the government listen to you.
