Remove a Charging Order

Does a Charging Order move to a 3rd party when they "buy" a debt? I have a CO from an old Northern Rock loan. The debt was sold to a 3rd party (and then onto another 3rd party) and is now being paid via an Attachment of Earnings. Does this 3rd party also have any rights or control over the CO. I have enough equity to clear the mortgage, the CO and have something for a deposit on a new property, but am obviously in a catch-22 situation of not being able to sell the house with a CO against it.

Yes their rights transfer with the debt. They should apply to the Land Registry for a change to the new owner. If you pay it, it should drop off.0

If you are a joint owner and the CO is against just you then it may not be a catch 22“Official Company Representative
