No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries January 2022

It can really be any or all or those categories! When I started out it was more things I wanted 'rid' of, now that I've got a more focused selection it's things that are open or that I want to work on.
Now I try not to buy too many of the same thing and in some categories I've got one plus a spare, but others I've still got more of a stash to work through. The hardest stuff I find is perfume, face treatments and hand creme as they all take ages to use up!Not buying unnecessary toiletries 2024 26/53 UU, 25 IN4 -
Shower steamers - made by Cleverfy and a box of 6. I have used 2 so far and they smell nice but can’t say I’m blown away by the product and they seem a bit pointless to me as all they do is make the bathroom smell spa like for a short time. I prefer a bath with a nice bath bomb which lingers much longer.VALM said:
Not that I intend to purchase anything else this month but I'd be interested in your feedback on the shower steamer, if you don't mind.
There is a menthol and eucalyptus one however which might be good if full of cold so I am saving that one!!
they seem to get good reviews on Amazon which really baffles me?3 -
Fab, I shall work on that list as a good starting point. Am sure I'll finish other bits n pieces along the way too! 😁pinkfluffybabe said:It can really be any or all or those categories! Thanks for your honest review perfect10. I’m not keen on one time use products. I was lucky and was given 3 x LUSH sets for Christmas, two of which contained 3 bath bombs but I’ve used them all already. Much prefer bubble bars. Still let me know how you get on with the mint one.perfect10 said:

I gave the Givency perfume sample to Emma as I didn’t particularly like it. Have more of them so will fish them out for her too.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I have UU'ed The Beauty Pie Foot cream. It was an ok product but I walk a lot and my heels are in need of something a bit richer.

Little UUs:* sample of Purito Centella Unscented Toner : seemed nice. Actually have a full size waiting to try properly 🤣* Sample of Si Giorgio Armani perfume-Ok, wouldn't buy.*-Sample of Thierry Muglar Angel body lotion- not sure if it was off (was a bit old) but I didnt like this. Used a bit but threw the rest of the sachet away. Strange as I used to buy this perfume when I was younger!Throw Away* some Colgate mouthwash that was a hundred yrs old. Was a super strength type one so not needed regularly and just been sat there.Jan Grocery Challenge 2023: £181.18/£400
