Most tax efficient way to buy / lease / hire an electric vehicle

Hi all, I'm looking to buy a new car. I'm self employed and looking to buy an electric car as a sole trader. I work in a few regular locations so I have been advised I can't claim mileage to those locations.
I understand that when buying a new electric the tax relief is 100% but then multiplied by your business use percentage. So I'm not sure if it's going to be massively beneficial for me.
Is anyone in the same situation and has bought a new vehicle and aware of the most tax efficient route?
