Currently there is no business happening in my company planning to close it. Incase if i got business in future, after doing dormant status how long i need to wait to re-activation? If there is grace period, can i open the new ltd firm with same directors?

Thanks, given article link doesn't say re-activation timeline? My friend saying it required 2 years cooling period for reactivation, is it true? if not, after closing the old company, can i start the new company immediately with same directors?0

There is no "cooling period". See https://www.qualitycompanyformations.co.uk/blog/make-dormant-company-active/
You can start any number of new companies with the same directors, but each one costs money to maintain.0
