hi all, wondering if anyone can help me with my query. I’d like to know what my rights are before I hear back from HR.
Ive handed in my notice to my current employer this week, I’m on a 3 month notice period and have said I’m happy work this. However, I’m currently on mat leave, I had stated my intention to return to work in February and it had been accepted.
I have >30 days holidays accrued this year which I was planning on using for a phased return. What possible outcomes are there, is there any chance I’d lose out on these days/not be paid for them?
Thanks

Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!0 -
You cannot lose your statutory holiday entitlement. Your employer must either let you take that holiday during your notice period or pay you for it after you leave. That is entirely their choice and subject to fairly minimal notice they can instruct you to take certain days during your notice as holiday. They do not have to agree to your holiday requests (although they may well).BT0808 said:hi all, wondering if anyone can help me with my query. Any holiday above the statutory minimum of 5.6 weeks / 28 days is contractual and subject to whatever terms your employer has laid down.0
