    Are you considering giving up work completely? Working while retired (especialy in a familiar job) seems to make people more satisfied. Might not apply to you specifically but studies show it does in general.

    Phased retirement might be worth considering so you claim some pension while still building up more as you gradually adjust to full-time retirement.
