Fingers crossed for you getting the car back and it all being OK!
Today for me then:
- banking checked
- CC money shuffle done
- Calculated what *should* be left as surplus this month, and decided where to allocate it
- WM through tonight
- Tea tonight from plan
- A bit more tidying of email inbox
- Amazon basket checked out - hopefully this will be the last Christmas presents sorted for my side of the family!
We assessed last night that we probably would do "goody bag" style presents for the smaller nephews again this year, so long as we can get them down to Devon not too far into the new Year which we hope we can. So the remaining bits for those will need getting this weekend.
Jade the Venu was one of those I looked at when I chose mine - it looks nice!
I've got a catch up and dinner out with a couple of pals tomorrow up in Lincoln which I'm looking forward to - our favourite pub is booked and I'm pretty sure we'll all be pushing the boat out and having steak as it's our Christmas meal so it won't be the cheapest but well worth it, and most definitely budgeted for!! So an early start for me tomorrow to head up there - a day of photography (whizzy little Red jets) and then out in the evening - home on Friday morning I think. Really looking forward to it!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

, and seems fine (as well it might!)
Dog walks x 2 done.Dry washing from airer folded and put awayBathroom and kitchen cleanedMoved a large prostate rosemary plant and a small tree in the garden - they have swapped places. Watered them in. Made the most of the pleasant weather.Phone call with DD1Made a roast and a lemon pudding for dinnerOH started replacing the fence that was blown down in the storm the other week - I dug up some leeks that were in the way, to go with dinner.More Christmas presents have arrived. I think that is it now! We do a secret santa for the adults in our family, but still buy for all of the littlies. However, I have several close relatives' birthdays around Christmas, so I tend to buy those presents along with the Christmas ones. Also a delivery from Icyland (today was the last day before Christmas for free deliveries - from tomorrow they will cost £5). I will only need to get some fresh stuff next week, which I will go out and buy, but having the bulk of it delivered means less time spent in crowded supermarkets (I am / was supposed to be one of those shielding people, which I no longer do, but see no sense in spending time unnecessarily in crowded indoor places at the moment). Now have a ton of washing up and the banks to check.1 -
Morning all, feels like a lot of things to get done over this weekend but suspect it won’t really be too bad - not least that any cooking that needs doing for next Saturday will have to wait until later in the week!I had a lovely couple of days up in Lincoln staying with a pal and spending time with another as well - two of my very best friends and we had a great time including on-base access to photograph the Red Arrows training on Thursday which is always fun! Meal at our favourite pub on Thursday night too - yum. £40 including drinks and tip but budgeted for and absolutely worth it!Today I/we need to:
- take parcel with router for return to the PO
- collect prescription
- food shopping - I have a list
- remaining bits for homeless shelter
- some wrapping
- might make bread sauce today as it can freeze
- check that my Hussle gym pass is cancelled from end of this pass.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
