Which, thinking about it shouldn't be necessary, because it's showing it to me even though I am again an existing member.... Sorry, have run out of other ideas.... except that I just tried a google and got this page ( https://www.nme.com/discount-codes/ancestry.co.uk?c=47660 ) which looks as though it's giving you 50% off Ancestry DNA, but actually takes you to the same 50% off membership page which I see if I follow the link I posted above...

Am presuming you've cancelled your old membership in time for it to not autorenenw?yes I have done but when I try doing the same as you - I still get a "renew" page appearing with no cheap chargesmy membership expires in 2 weeks - is that a reason ?0

Yes, I think so - the small print at the bottom says for new members only - so you will need to cancel your membership - has to be done at least 2 days before end date or it will autorenew at the full price - you can cancel it now and will not lose full access until midnight on your renewal date. Then just try the link after midnight! - good luck! The only other thing I can think of if it still doesn't work then is that you might need to clear cookies or tracking...

I got the 50% off link via Facebook. I've been a member, on and off, since 2004. Always use the same login and ID. Purchased the Annual UK Premium membership for £59.99. It's available until 8 January. If you cancel your old subscription you receive a pro-rata refund for any time remaining.
