Which are the best supermarket Christmas sandwiches?

And the worst?
MSE JC isn't keen on the Jamie Oliver range of Christmas sandwiches.
I'm intrigued by Sainsbury's star-shaped veggie sandwich, but does it taste as good as it looks?
Let me know your thoughts.

MSE Laura FNo man is worth crawling on this earth.
So much to read, so little time.1 -
This is my favourite from the Co-op, always well filled and tasty.

Pret is probably the best Christmas sandwich, but expensive so not moneysaving.
Tesco at £3 for a meal deal is great if you get a good sandwich normally £2.75, a snack worth £1 or so such as a sausage roll or pork pies and then can get a smoothie as the drink, can save quite a lot with the deal.1 -
M&S always did the best ones. I haven't had one for years. And I'd treat myself a couple of times in the run-up to Christmas.
(D**n the expense - at Christmas!!)Please note - taken from the Forum Rules and amended for my own personal use (with thanks) : It is up to you to investigate, check, double-check and check yet again before you make any decisions or take any action based on any information you glean from any of my posts. Indeed, it's once a year. Also many of the Xmas sandwiches include a donation to charity.1

Love the m&s turkey feast but its pricey! The lidl dupe is pretty good and much cheaper.0

If you're going the DIY route and making one from leftovers, I do recommend the inclusion of a 'moist maker' (crustless bread soaked in gravy) mentioned in the show 'Friends'.
I'm rarely out at lunchtimes now, so I'm not likely to try any this year.0 -
I tried the M&S gluten free Christmas sandwich option - it was fine but, as with lots of gluten free bread, it did fall apart a bit. Perfectly good flavours though. Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....
