That's just bizarre - did the FCA dream it up at their christmas party last year?

I doubt that will go down well with Collateral P2P lenders who checked the FCA website before lending only to find that the entry was false and should never have been there.
Collateral has gone, and while investigations for fraud continue 2/3 years on, those lenders are still waiting for their money. The FCA, then led by Andrew Bailey (since made Governor of the Bank of England)  has yet to admit or apologise for the error.

Fraudsters are currently on overtime. Be extra suspicious everyone!
  • The jingle pretty much says if you need a loan and someone says they can get you one, as long as you pay a fee upfront, then it is a scam.

I was expecting something a bit more complicated to be honest, I mean, who would give these scammers money?  It is literally the opposite of a loan!

"Hi, I need to borrow £500."

    "No problem, give me £50."

    "Eh, what?"
Think first of your goal, then make it happen!
