Civil Service Continuous Service

Hi, I'm hoping someone will be able to help as I've so far been unable to find the answer. I've been employed with MOJ for over 15 years and I've been offered a promotion within HMRC. Will my length of service carry over to the new department, protecting my enhanced annual leave, maternity pay and other benefits? I've had no break in service other than 6 months maternity leave 3 years ago.
Thanks in advance.

You'll still be a civil servant, so hard to see why not - but you are obviously concerned, so asking your employer is surely the best way to get the clarity and reassurance you need for your peace of mind?michymoo84 said:Hi, I'm hoping someone will be able to help as I've so far been unable to find the answer. Yes it will as you will still be employed by the Civil Service.michymoo84 said:Hi, I'm hoping someone will be able to help as I've so far been unable to find the answer. Make sure that you check the Civil Service Pension site to ensure that your 15 years in the MOJ are carried over when you join HMRC.1
