Anybody applied for a mortgage at TSB?

Just curious if anyone is in the same boat and what the waiting times are etc?

We applied with TSB because they are the only mortgage company that gives more than 4.5x our income. We are hoping for 4.75.

They did hard searches yesterday... and now we wait.

Should be ok. Just give them a few days should hear back.
Virgin money/Barclays also good with income multipliers close to 4.5/4.75x
If 2 people's income not always maxed out.
  • Thanks london21. They insucted a valuation apparently. Do you think it is a good sign or don't they thoroughly consider the mortgage application until all info is received (I.e. valuation too)?

We did last year and they were super fast for us, turned around application and approval before we could even get to an appointment with our own bank.

It's a good sign, try not to stress too much about it.
Once valuation is back and all ok that's nearing offer.
