Grandparents

Weekly have 2 Grandchildren and their mother is entitled to UC, if we put too much into NSANDI in the children's names it count against the Mothers gross value and will reduce UC. we tried to take ownership as Grandparents but after 3 months they say it is not possible to do this so beware, no good deed goes unpunished. We also give gifts but so do many of my siblings.

I don't even understand what this post means? It's just a ramble of nonsense to my eyes!0

I think they are trying to warn against any gifts to grandchildren which are put into the parents’ names, as they will count as belonging to the parents. If parents are on means-tested benefits, for example Universal Credit, it could mean they then have too much in savings to qualify.
i may have completely misunderstood, of course.1
