Can anyone help me please - re:- certain magazine comping entries

I am having trouble entering the following magazines' competitions
Your Cat
Your Dog
Hobbies & Crafts
All About Stamps

I sign in, enter my details press send and within seconds, the message I get on them all is 

• There was a problem entering this competition, please try again

I have been in contact with the Your Cat and Your Dog people but they've not been able to help.
No doubt there will be other magazines that I won't be able to enter the competitions on as well.

Can anyone help me, please? TIA

Which browser are you using?

Have you cleared your history, cookies, temporary files, cache etc recently?

That might help, otherwise others may have better suggestions.

I'm on Google Chrome but I've also tried the comps on Safari - and had the same message.

No, I hadn't cleared cookies, but I've done that now.

I've tried one of the comps again and I'm still getting the same message.

Hi CraSiEla, I've had the very same problem for months, it's not just you, I tried contacting them, didn't get anywhere.

just ended up skipping those, as nothing seems to work / isn't a work-around, shame

I don't know if this is related or not. A while ago, I had a prob entering them too. I found I could enter them on my tablet, but not my laptop. I think it was to do with my ad blocker. I tried white listing them, but I don't know if I did it right, cos I'm c**p at stuff like that. Anyway, for some reason, a few weeks later, I found that I could enter them on my laptop. It's been fine since then.

I can't do them on the iPad, I've tried.

I've had a look at whitelisting, but for me, it sounds like toooooo much hard work, just for entering competitions.

I might check the Adblocker to see if that is causing the problem.

I use Opera browser without an Adblocking extension for any sites that I can't enter using Adblock+ which works great for me as I can still use Roboform form filler with Opera.

Could you maybe try resetting your password on them see if that helps. If not it might be worth creating a new account.
