Vacuum Cleaner advice

I am looking towards getting a new vacuum cleaner. I have two Vax ones and both are not very good.
Don't want to pay Dyson or Shark prices and wondered about getting a Henry.
Does anyone on here have one, and if so, what do you think about the performance?

Henry’s are very reliable, great suction. There is a reason a lot of builders use Henry’s.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Competitions Time, Shopping & Freebies boards, Employment, Jobseeking & Training boards If you need any help on these boards, do let me know. I had a Henry provided by landlord in rented properties. Great wee hoover vaccuum cleaner. Shame they don't do cordless. (Or do they? I've never checked)Had a Vax, very disappointing.Replaced this with a Dyson which lasted 5 years before the brush bar stopped spinning. It was also raggedy from all the hoovering vaccuum cleaning.Replaced this with a Shark from the recent MSE offer which is so far pretty good. Doesn't have the same maneouverability of the Dyson so it might be annoying to hoover the car or the stairs.0
