I know, I should know better than to ask this well trodden question here. I like to think I know the pros and cons of both options but I would still like to get some views on this. Like many regular posters I don't normally like to give too many details of my financial situation, but for the purpose of this thread I think…

Agreed and also because higher rate tax relief might be stopped at some point.
