Covid Certification App

I cannot open my My Covid Certification app. This problem has just arisen within the past couple of days. Is anyone else having a problem? Perhaps it is something to do with the new arrangements being put in place for Covid passports.

If I uninstall the app will all my information be saved and reappear when I reinstall it again?

    I just checked mine and it's working fine - sorry to not be of help, but whatever is broken isn't affecting everyone!

    I'd imagine your details would be saved if you reinstalled, as you have to log in with NI direct if I remember correctly. 
  • Will leave it a day or 2 and try again. If not I will uninstall and reinstall and hope for the best

    I had problems last week.
    Uninstalled and reinstalled sorted the problem.
    Just needed to sign into my NI direct account on it when I opened it up for the first time and all the info was still there.

    just simply uninstall and reinstall.................... when you sign in the certs will be restored

    We can't get the app to work at all. Uninstalled and reinstalled, no difference. Got the certificate by email but can't see it in the app - when we opened the app the only options were to log into NIDirect or apply for a certificate. Logged into NIDirect and was returned to the previous screen with the above options again.
    Went to report an issue and the option to report is not available, just a message saying that they are aware of issues and are working on them.
    Deleted the app and printed out a paper copy of the cert

    The app is rubbish, and the whole process of creating an NI Direct account is ridiculously complicated.  I've got the travel cert downloaded to the app (which I'll use with ID if required), but when I go to take the selfie required for the domestic cert, it complains that the app doesn't have permission to access the camera - which it definitely does.

    A new Android update has appeared in the last few days, but it still doesn't work - it's pathetic.
