£259 Only one year warranty. That suggests even Lidl don't reckon it'll be much cop or reliable.
Even Lidl Ukuleles have 3 years warranty so why not these TV sets? https://www.lidl.co.uk/p/music-gifts/ukulele-set/p47505
Sharp is a definite low end budget brand now, made in EU by UMC. https://www.hafactory.it/2020/01/14/sharp-acquired-100-of-skytec-umc/

I don't have this model but I have a different Sharp TV (2T-C42CGx) and I'm pretty happy with it. In fact it was a bit of a bargain in my opinion considering the quality. The idea Sharp is now some unreliable budget brand that should be avoided is a bit of a wild exaggeration - I've had two Sharp TVs recently and they're actually a really good option for people like me who want decent quality at a competitive price (rather than extortionate high end stuff).
