June was the best month for me for a long time - £200 from the Daily Mirror plus a couple of small ones got me £228.32.

Year total so far is a whopping £295.74

No surprise there @lucinad that's why I get my totals in early, so I make it on the list in the first place 😆

A very small surprise arrived in the post this morning.
I was 1 of the 1000 from this competition:

Worth 93p, this was sent via Royal mail as a large letter, so the postage cost would be more than the product itself 😬

Do lottery wins count?
If yes, how are we calculating them?
Would it be the amount won or the amount won, minus how much was spent on it? I hope that makes sense!

I don't normally do the national lottery, but decided to do the draw on the Euromillions for Friday.
I put £10 into the online account, so I did 3 lines for the Euromillions at £2.50 each, 1 for the Thunderball at £1.00 and 1 for set for life at £1.50

I then had a feeling I had been silly and shouldn't have entered.
But just logged in and I won £10 on the set for life, so got my money back!

So is this a win? If yes. Is it a £10 win or a £8.50 win? Thanks muchly.

@Ms_Dee hmmm.... I mean I think we have a £2.50 limit on posting competitions, so it falls in that limit ....so yeah count it if you like..... (Where is the newt.....she used to have all the final answers to these questions 🤣).... I say take off the original cost and take the rest as a profit!
