HIGH Income child benefit charge question

I earn over 50k but dnt receive any child benefit. My ex I just found out has been claiming. Am i liable to pay the charge because she is claiming? She is on a low salary and works only 1 day.

Did she claim whilst you were a couple and living together? If so then yes any overpayment will be taken back out of your wages via your tax code.

Now she's your ex then your salary isn't relevant to her claim for CB.
