Just noticed in hmrc payee login, non-coded income with some figures, but i couldn't find the source income details, just it has link to update the non-coded income.
Any idea how to get non-coded income details statement?
Last year i've bought few stocks from ig.com, that's has gained profit but i haven't sold it. Does unsold stock profit has to be declare in the Self assessment or just sold stock profit gain need to declare ?

Have you ever completed Self Assessment return in the past?
There is no gain for tax purposes until it is sold (or transferred to someone else).0 -
No i haven't filled SA return in the past, until last year i was in employment and no additional income to declare. stocks i've bought recently. i am seeing non-coded income first time and showing for this year. can't recall myself, is there any way to find out the details on non-coded income?Dazed_and_C0nfused said:Have you ever completed Self Assessment return in the past?

AIUI it usually comes from Self Assessment returns.
There are no "details", it is just a value taken from previous information you have supplied to HMRC that is used to make sure your tax code is as accurate as possible. In most situations it doesn't actually change your tax code though.
So you have never completed a Self Assessment return?

‘Until last year I was in employment’ - are there any taxable benefits received e.g. State benefits, Carers Allowance etc?0

It is 99.99% certain that it's you who reported them.
No one else.
Did you complete a Self Assessment return for 2019:20 or not?
If not have you ever completed an R40?0 -
In fact you clearly have completed Self Assessment returns in the past as you posted this on an earlier thread.Recently received a hrmc letter to declare my foreign income, so i need to amend the SA for 17/18 and 18/19. I am a Limited company director, taking my perks as below
Salary - £11800
Dividend - £27000
Foreign interest on my saving - £120000 -
And in January stated
In my india visit, i've donated around £1000 to orphanage and needed people, I've lost of donation receipts. In my SA filling, can i claim the tax relief on overseas donation? if yes, pls advise under which option i need to fill in SA?
