    Eon won't be installing the system, they will sub-contract it. They actually state that their "in-roof" systems are from Viridian.

    I'm requesting a quote, from Eon, for an in-roof system my new gaff, but I shan't be paying anything like their illustrative prices.

    In what way? There are workmanship guarantees. Output guarantees for the panels themselves. Or do you mean will they monitor it for its lifetime?

    Hies warranty protects you if your installers go bust. 

    I managed £1.12/w on a dual aspect 4.3kwp system
    4.29kWp Solar system, 45/55 South/West split in cloudy rainy Cumbria.

    It is highly unlikely that E.ON will be taking responsibility for any aspect of your solar PV system.
