LCS still harassing me

Good morning
I was declared bankrupt in 2018 and was told to go to the Recievers office to discuss my situation. While there we went though all my business debts and personal. Now 3 years on a company called LCS are constantly sending letters for a business debt even though I’ve told them it was added by the Reciever as a business debt. They have told me to provide proof of my bankruptcy but surely this would be on public record? Looking at my credit file there are other things on it that was also declared in my bankruptcy. Any advice would be appreciated.

Its always wise to keep a screenshot of your details on the insolvency register, just in case this ever happens.

Assuming you don`t have a screenshot, I`d just refer them to your OR, let them deal with it.

Or, it will also still show on your credit report, under the heading "public information" you could send a screenshot of that to them, it should be proof enough.

Bankruptcy annuls all your debts, but for the sake of argument, its them chasing the debt, they are supposed to prove that you owe it, you don`t have to prove anything.

Bankruptcy is an all encompassing solution, all your debts are covered (with a few exceptions) whether you have listed them or not, so you can just ignore them and laugh them out of court if they take it that far.

Even though your bankruptcy is removed from the Individual Insolvency Register three months after discharge, it will always remain on the Gazette. You could forward them a link to your entry like this..

    https://www.thegazette.co.uk/notice/3438406

Just an example, this particular one is for Katie Price.
