Halifax Hard-Credit Search

Hello.
We went through a Halifax Mortgage Application and got an offer in May 2021, expiring 30th November.
We purchased a new build that’s due to be finished next week (and has already been signed off).

I got a notification today that Halifax did a Hard-Credit Search on Friday, but I’m worried because I put £2k worth of Carpet Costs on a Credit Card in Sept/Oct.
Will having this on my credit card affect the Hard-Credit Search and change our offer or revoke the application?

We’re so close to completing I didn’t think putting stuff for the house on a credit card would be a problem, but now I’m incredibly anxious this will all fall through.
We currently rent and have until 14th Dec to leave. If anyone has any advice or insight about the credit search etc, that would be awesome. Thank you.

Only if increased borrowing takes you outside of their lending criteria.

It's rare and £2k is not a lot.
