    Thanks for the replies. Any more greatly appreciated. Nobody's mentioned noisiness so perhaps I take it that generally fan operation isn't too much of an issue..?
    No it's not. When I first moved into my home it was a freezing winter and a nightmare to heat. I bought a Beldray on offer for something like £35 from B&M and it did the job. Since then I've spent thousands improving the energy efficiency in my home and can't remember the last time I used it. Not have I plans to given the silly price of energy.
