Free download, looks just like Sage and you can import data from Sage. Was a bit slow to load but looks good...

I'll give that a try and see if I can use that for my personal accounts. It could be an improvement on the Excel system I set up.
ThanksHoping this year is better than the last.0 -
I noticed the following information about the download:
Important note: At this time, Office Accounting Express 2008 is designed for US and UK based small businesses only and does not support local requirements outside of these two countries. The version you are about to download is the US version. If you require the UK version please visit www.msofficeaccounting.co.uk
UK version of this software is available here:

This is a genuinely interesting posting but the wider issue is why do MS want to crowbar a market share here? Can we be sure that the program is sufficiently safe from the usual predators who will be looking to exploit programming deficiencies?
Personally, I will give it another 12 months before I use this new program, too many fingers have been burned by MS over the years.
P.S. Do we have a thread on the forum for good freebie software? I have missed it if we do.Keep trying.........................what else is there to do?

This is a business accounting software and not suitable for personal/household use.All I ask is the chance to prove that money can't make me happy.0
